Under the Unit/Department Directors' supervision, this position is assigned managerial responsibilities for the NICU or PICU CHET team. These responsibilities include coordination and operation of the Emergency Transport Program for the organization. In addition, responsibilities include leading, managing and overseeing daily operational activities of the program. Supports the overall business plan by monitoring team and program performance and outcomes. Works closely with outside vendors to establish effective programmatic relationships. Ensures immediate response to requests for transport from the community on a 24/7 basis. Ensures safety standards and competency requirements for both teams are met. Assumes 24-hour responsibility for the entire emergency transport program, both Neonatal and Pediatric.
