Overview

Manage reinsurance accounting operations in Chile and support global reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Reinsurance accounting for Chile; set up treaties and contracts in XL Pro and VT.
• Validate contract set up and calculations, ensuring consistency with placement intentions.
• Deliver quarterly reconciliations supporting US GAAP consolidated statements and local standards.
• Liaise with ceded buyers, underwriting, claims, actuarial, and financial teams on recognition and reporting.
• Account for ceded balances outside XL Pro, including manual adjustments.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports related to reinsurance activities, including management reporting and ceded accounts.
• Support actuarial reserving requirements and local regulatory reporting.
