The appointee will need to be comfortable as both a specialist insurance lawyer and as a relative generalist with the ability to issue spot and exercise good legal, compliance and commercial judgment for the Hong Kong business.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Provide commercially sensitive, pragmatic and practical legal advice to the business and corporate functions on a variety of legal, regulatory and governance related matters
+ Address legal and regulatory issues arising from business transactions
+ Draft and review of commercial agreements, insurance policy provisions and marketing materials etc.
+ Proactively identify legal and regulatory risk in the business and provide alternative solutions to reduce or mitigate the risk while skillfully managing legal and practical business considerations
+ Review consultation papers from regulatory bodies and prepare summaries
