About This Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Public Service Training, the Manager, Headquarters Training and Development plays a key role in fostering an effective, skilled, and representative public service. The position is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of GN wide training and development programs, supporting departments across all three regions. The incumbent aligns learning initiatives with GN priorities, including the Business Plan, Human Resource Strategy, Inuit Employment Plan, Article 23 obligations, decentralization, and succession planning. The position provides expert advice to departments and senior leadership on staff development, learning systems, and effective training practices.
Responsibilities
Manage the delivery of GN wide training and development programs aligned with divisional priorities and workforce strategies while designing, developing, coordinating, and implementing learning initiatives.
