About this Role

At Capital One, you will consult on initiatives, programs, and projects to enhance Information Security and Risk Management across the organization. You collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security into development processes and advise on secure architecture for infrastructure, data, network, and access management. The role requires practical knowledge of cloud services, containers, microservices, serverless, DevOps, and a strong threat‑modeling mindset.

Responsibilities

• Act as a central point of contact between your line of business and Capital One’s Information Security and Risk Management organization.
• Coordinate and execute proactive information security consulting covering infrastructure security, resiliency, data security, network architecture and design, and user access management.
• Serve as an expert in Capital One’s security capabilities, solutions, policies, procedures, and standards.
