Maintenance Generalist III

Location: Jackson

Classification Minimum Requirements: High school diploma (or equivalent) and at least four (4) years of experience in the field or in a related area. Appropriate vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees farm maintenance personnel. Participate in the maintenance of rolling stock including tractors, pickup trucks, trailers, cars including on-site repair and preventative maintenance. Driving will be required.
• Support the needs of the Agronomy farm through tasks such as tillage operations, planting, pesticide applications, harvesting, etc.
• Maintain specialized research and farm equipment (planters, harvesters, etc.) as well as research facilities (like the forage dryer, etc.) including on-site repair and preventative maintenance.
