Unit Summary

The Logistics Portfolio provides six-site procurement and supplies distribution across the Juravinski Hospital & Cancer

Centre, Hamilton General, St. Peter's Maplewood and McMaster sites. Primary functions include contract

development and administration, Purchasing, and Supply Chain Distribution. As well, Logistics manages formal

relationships with several GPO's and other strategic alliances.

The Mail Room Aide functions as part of the Mail Services team at the Hamilton General, Juravinski Hospital & Cancer

Centre and McMaster Hospital Sites. The Mail Room Aide is responsible for the sorting and processing of inbound and

outbound mail through both Canada Post and other mail/courier service agreements, including the operation of the mail

meter equipment.
