The Mail Clerk is responsible for processing, sorting and distributing daily mail.
Essential Functions
Pick up University mail from Post Office daily.
Sort incoming U.S. mail and campus mail and deliver to departments.
Sort, scan, and deliver incoming University packages using WTS Software and scanners, including sending students email notifications for package pick up.
Notify departments of incoming freight shipments to schedule delivery.
Process outgoing U.S. mail using postage machine and drop off at Post Office at the end of the day.
Process outgoing department overnights and packages USPS, UPS and FedEx using Pitney Bowes software.
Provide customer service to faculty, staff and students.
Perform job duties without supervision.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
