• Enrollment in, or completion of Pedagogy (Orientação Educacional) and/or Psychology, Psychopedagogy or related field.
• Professional development courses or certifications relevant to the position, such as Mediação Escolar.
• Fluent English
• Between 3 and 5 years of experience.

The Inclusion Assistant is most importantly a student advocate. In this regard they work in partnerships with students, families, and other educators to advance a safe,  inclusive, culturally responsive learning environment that celebrates the value of diversity and supports individuals with exceptionalities to be active and effective learners.
