Conduct routine plain clothes patrols of the site (interior and exterior), maintaining a covert presence to observe suspicious and criminal activity under all statues and laws.
The Loss Prevention Officer may be required to effect an arrest in accordance with the Criminal Code of Canada when lawful grounds exist.
Monitor CCTV and access control systems to detect and respond to irregular or suspicious behaviour.
Prevent unauthorized entry, trespassing, and loss of property through proactive surveillance and incident management.
Respond quickly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarms while following established protocols.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports, logbooks, and shift summaries.
Engage respectfully with site staff, visitors, clients, and members of the public.
