Job Description
The Integrated Regina Health Continuing Care Branch is seeking a family physician to join the Long-Term Care team at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, with a start date: To be determined based on the successful candidate’s availability.
The Wascana Rehabilitation Centre is a facility with inpatient and outpatient rehab and specialty programs, in addition to a 250-bed long term care program supporting long term care residents, convalescent patients, and hospice patients in palliative Care.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centred care to approximately 30-40 residents and patients as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include on-site rounding and order reviews, participating in resident care conferences, and providing call coverage on a 1:6 rotation (including weekdays, weekends, and statutory holidays).
