Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has emerged within the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS). We are seeking a locum Specialty Dentist to join our existing team based at University Hospital Monklands. This is a temporary locum position for a period of 12 months.
The post is offered as a full‑time position on a 10 PA basis. Applicants wishing to work less than full‑time will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to treat general OMFS conditions at a Specialty Dentist level in an OMFS Unit. Responsibilities include:
Management of routine and complex oral surgery cases.
Delivery of high‑quality patient care and ensuring patient safety.
Participation in medical education, research & development activities.
Support quality improvement initiatives, including human factors training.
