Responsibilities
Drafting, formatting, and proofreading a wide variety of legal documents, including statements of claim and defence, motion records, affidavits, and correspondence.
Managing calendars, tracking court deadlines, and coordinating schedules for hearings, mediations, discoveries, and client meetings.
Filing and serving court documents in compliance with Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure and court practices.
Maintaining and organizing electronic and paper litigation files, including managing large volumes of documents.
Liaising with clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
