Support patient care at LifeLabs as a part time Lab Patient Technician in Thunder Bay. Your role will focus on patient interactions, specimen collections, and lab documentation.
In this float role, you will need to work at different locations and fulfill a minimum of two shifts weekly. You'll manage patient information, execute ECGs, and navigate special test cases. Strong interpersonal skills will enhance patient experiences during their lab visits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients and facilitate test protocol explanations
• Perform phlebotomies and ECG tests accurately
• Conduct special tests including drug screens and paternity tests
• Respond to client inquiries and ensure follow-up

Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program is preferred
