The Lightspeed Legal Team is seeking a Legal Counsel in Montreal to partner and collaborate daily with our business teams, preparing and negotiating commercial agreements and providing commercially-minded legal solutions.
What you will be doing
Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with customers, strategic partners, and vendors/suppliers across NOAM, EMEA and APAC.
Delivering legal and general commercial advice to key stakeholders across all Lightspeed departments.
Documenting legal know-how and delivering training to the wider Legal Team and business stakeholders.
Identifying and advising on legal risks and compliance issues related to the structuring, development and marketing of new products or features.
Performing focused legal research and analysis.
Helping manage legal aspects of complex, cross-functional, multi-jurisdictional projects.
