Job Description:

Lead/Senior Mainframe Developer

Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing practice has an opening for a Lead/Senior Mainframe Developer to place at our client, a top Canadian Bank under the Personal & Business Banking portfolio.

Client: A Top Canadian Bank

LOB: Personal & Business Banking

Terms: 6-monthContract to start, subject to extensions (mutli-year)

Location: Hybrid 2+ days a week Downtown Toronto

Some Specific Functions of This Role:

  • Lead projects through all SDLC stages, coaching more junior staff, ensuring the bank's code standards are maintained
  • Work on complex projects impacting core banking operations
  • Provide senior level technical analysis and support for E2E project teams
