The Laboratory Analyst 1 is responsible for all aspects of laboratory analysis including production, time management, quality control and turnaround time.
Specific Responsibilities
Responsible for preparation of standards, stocks, and materials
Operates Basic and Level 1 analytical instruments
Generates work lists and organizes analytical runs
Prepares complex sample extractions, preparations, and analyses
Calibrates, maintains, and troubleshoots Basic and Level 1 analytical instruments
Assists with training of other staff in the department
Reviews and writes SOPs
Performs Quality Control approval review
Carrying out all required work scheduling and planning activities
Completes all data processing (calculations, data review, data entry, archival, etc.) and required record‑keeping & documentation
