Junior/Senior Ace Summer Counselor

Summer Counselors will provide individualized and group-based support to Autistic participants as they participate in summer group programming. Counselors will have the opportunity to empower participants to explore, learn, and enjoy new experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

Programs will run from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 4 pm and will operate onsite at one of our community partner locations.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with coordinators and volunteers to implement fun and engaging activities for all participants
• Facilitate individual and group activities, games, crafts; monitoring and respecting participants’ interests, wants and comfort levels; ensuring safety at all times
