Junior Software Engineer

Location & Compensation

Aurora, Ontario. Salary: $70,000 - $80,000. One‑year contract with potential for renewal.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the end‑to‑end design, development, and deployment of software applications as part of a special project team.
• Write, test, and maintain code across front‑end web/app interfaces and back‑end services.
• Develop back‑end services and APIs using .NET 8 and C#.
• Design and implement Linux and Windows drivers and applications using C and C++.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs; deploy enhancements and updates.
• Support AI‑related development, including inference and agent‑based systems.
• Write and maintain scripts to improve automation and operational efficiency.
• Participate in version control and code management using GitHub.
