About This Opportunity

Take charge of retail operations as Assistant Store Manager at Journeys. Focus on team recruitment, training, and achieving sales goals for optimal store performance.
This position allows you to assist the Store Manager and the Manager In Training in all aspects of store management. You will recruit and train employees to ensure a high standard of service while adhering to company policies. Cultivating a customer-first environment and recognizing staff potential will be key aspects of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Achieve and maintain store sales goals
• Assist in the hiring of qualified team members
• Coach and develop employees for success
• Manage daily operations in the absence of the Store Manager
• Facilitate effective resolution of customer issues
Requirements:
• Ability to commit to 45 hours weekly
• Availability for weekend and night shifts
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent customer service experience required
