Jasper National Park Relief Wilderness Hostel Manager

Hostelling International Canada – Jasper, AB – $15 an hour – Temporary, Contract – 2021 Summer season (mid‑May to mid‑October).

Hostelling International is seeking to fill 2 Relief Wilderness Hostel Manager positions. The successful candidate will travel between the Maligne Canyon and Mt Edith Cavell hostels (or remain at HI Athabasca Falls) to cover the days off of regular managers.

Responsibilities include opening and closing the hostel, keeping the hostel clean and well maintained, and delivering excellent customer service as a one‑man show.

Qualifications: prior hostel experience, excellent organisational skills, strong customer service ability, composure in high‑pressure situations, comfort working alone. A valid driver’s licence and access to reliable vehicle/transportation is preferred.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour + 6 % vacation entitlement (paid on each bi‑weekly paycheck). F...
