The Inventory & Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing inventory, processing incoming shipments, and ensuring the accurate handling and storage of goods to support efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and inspect items for damage or defects. Verify that shipment contents match packing lists and warehouse receipts, and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all stock items using manual or computerized inventory systems. Conduct physical stock counts (cycle counts) and update records to resolve any discrepancies.
Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and label products in accordance with customer orders and company procedures. Ensure packages are securely wrapped, often on pallets, and properly prepared for shipment.
