Position Overview

Intermediate Care Paramedics provide care to patients as part of a multi‑disciplinary health care team and are dedicated to providing compassionate, high‑quality health care services. The Intermediate Care Paramedic is responsible for providing accessible, responsive, and integrated patient care at all times, collaborating with health care providers, allied emergency service agencies, and other community agencies. The role includes safe, effective operation and use of vehicles and equipment as per Manitoba Provincial Regulations, Acts, and Shared Health policy. The Intermediate Care Paramedic will conduct themselves professionally, ethically, and demonstrate commitment to the mission, vision, values, goals, objectives, and policies of Shared Health.
