The Faculty of Social Work invites applications for a Limited Term academic position (2‑years) at the rank of Instructor, with a specialization in Clinical Social Work Practice. This position will be located in our Calgary campus and is anticipated to begin on July 1, 2021.
The position entails 80% teaching and 20% service. The teaching component includes instruction of BSW, MSW and graduate certificate courses, with a particular emphasis on clinical social work courses. Evidence of excellence in teaching at the university level in face‑to‑face, blended and online contexts at undergraduate and graduate levels is required, as is a strong clinical social work practice background. The service component includes service at the faculty, university and professional levels. Scholarship‑related duties of an instructor normally include maintenance of currency in pedagogy and discipline content.
