POSITION MANDATE

Manages a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to complete specific projects covering, but not limited to, control system design, control system retrofit design and consulting services. Primarily works through others, occasionally performs project work directly in response to circumstances.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

Project Management

• Coordinates project work with the team and the customer. Coordination includes schedules, resource allocations, and documented workplans with timelines and deliverables. Oversees coordination activities in instances where they’ve been delegated to a project engineer.
• Adjusts project workplans where required, in consultation with customers.
• Manages inter-departmental communications and relationships in support of specific project needs.
