Responsibilities
Oversee and address the healthcare needs of admitted patients, from acute ailments to chronic conditions.
Serve as the primary physician during patients' hospital stays and orchestrate complex treatment plans.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including nurses, specialists, surgeons, and allied health professionals.
Work with ICU and specialist colleagues to deliver advanced medical care and quality toward hospital-wide care.
Manage an average of 14–18 inpatients per rotation.
Qualifications
Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License
Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Mandatory
