Hoist & Shaft Electrical Supervisor

Reporting to the Electrical General Supervisor, this role ensures that the goals and objectives of the Maintenance Department are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Your Next Challenge

• Supervise and coordinate the shaft electrical/hoist team to ensure work is performed correctly, safely and on time with minimal impact on mine productivity.
• Perform daily safety huddles with the team, communication for safety, fit for duty checks, and coordinate day‑to‑day activities.
• Supervisor monthly compliance activities.
• Identify and coordinate training for the electrical team.
• Ensure the electrical team is trained to perform work safely.
• Supervise and manage performance in step with set KPI’s including planned and responsive maintenance and shutdowns.
