Our client, a boutique law firm located in Victoria, is looking to hire an intermediate legal administrative assistant to join their team on the island.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to lawyers including; filing, opening & closing files, maintaining calendars and client lists, maintaining bring forward systems, reviewing and filing email correspondence using established firm standards and procedures, and time entry
Assistance with the production of basic correspondence and legal documents using advanced formatting features, including proofreading and formatting
Hearing, arbitration and litigation support
Organizing and assembling documents, books, binders and other materials
Assisting other staff with work as time permits
Other general administrative and legal support related tasks
