The High School English Teacher is a highly creative, versatile, and student-focused specialist who teaches advanced literacy/critical analysis in a challenging yet supportive environment.

In English, the teacher is responsible for fostering exceptional critical thinkers and communicators through the IB English A: Language and Literature (SL/HL) course and other English offerings.

This role ultimately empowers students to use the arts as a powerful tool for communication and exploring social issues.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Certification: Valid teaching license or a degree in education, or a valid teaching certification (or equivalent) in their teaching field.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in English and/or other relevant fields.
