About This Opportunity

SMS Equipment is looking for aHeavy Equipment Technicianresiding in the Acheson area. If you're a journeyperson technician who takes pride in your work, solves problems with confidence, and thrives in a fast-paced environment—we want to hear from you.


Wage:$54.02 + premiums 
Location:Acheson, AB
Shift: 14x14


What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems on construction equipment

  • Perform overhauls, maintenance, and new equipment builds

  • Troubleshoot issues using computerized and manual diagnostic tools

  • Work independently in remote field settings, including adverse weather and confined spaces

  • Follow safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement in safe work practices

  • Lift up to 50 lbs as required by the role
