Your Opportunity:

This position is a (FTE) position at Vegreville Care Centre where you can be employed as an HCA while completing your HCA certification from a post-secondary college. Site consists of 5 cottages, 4 non-secure and 1 secured unit. 12 Residents in each cottage. HCAs are considered multiskilled at our site. Throughout the program, you will receive support, training, and mentorship from fellow HCAs and a professional team of nurses. The training program takes approximately 12 months to complete. The costs of tuition and training are covered by AHS. To be accepted into the program, you will need to commit to some criteria, including working in this position for 24 months at the time of hire.
