Overall management of Tool Design Department, Resource management and planning of design jobs to support in-house production and NPD, Overall management of NPD from RFQ to Tooling development and qualification and Plan for Training & Development.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Resource management for all design-related jobs.
• Liaise with BU’s and purchase department for new project RFQ for finalization of suppliers.
• Involve in feasibility study for NPD along with team.
• Tooling RFQ for new projects • Initiate tooling orders to suppliers
• Ensure DFM, Tool design and development is meeting targets.
• Liaise with tool suppliers for on time delivery and qualifications. • Ensure all tools/molds are made according to AFCI standards. • In-house tool/mold assembly for NPD •
