As a Gas Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance on existing systems, and installing new equipment.
Perform maintenance, and repairs on different sizes and types of propane burner systems throughout the plant. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety codes and manufacturer instructions.
Reading blueprints, diagrams and schematic diagrams
ACCOUNTABILITY: Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Licensed Gas 1 or Gas 2 Technician
Demonstrated ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
Able to problem solve and use critical thinking and decision making skills
Able to follow oral and written directions
Able to function well in a team environment and to communicate clearly with others
