Temporary Full Time Specialized Teacher

An opportunity exists for a caring, dedicated, and resilient teacher to join the Herald School community as a full-time temporary teacher in the Division's Specialized Programs for the start of the school year. The teacher will be responsible for programming for students with specialized medical, cognitive, and/or behavioural needs.

The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge, skill and a commitment to:

• Programming for students with diverse and complex needs
• An understanding of complex communication needs and the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication devices (e.g., Proloquo2Go, NovaChat)
• Knowledge of specialized strategies and supports
