About This Opportunity

The main purpose of the role is to operate the Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) in a safe, effective and efficient manner.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate the LRV according to customer and safety requirements

  • Monitor displays, dials and other indicators to ensure LRV is operating effectively

  • Stop at each LRV stop, ensure the door opening and closing sequences in a safe manner

  • Assist customers with boarding and disembarking the LRV when required

  • Follow instructions the Central Control Facility (CCF) via radio system

  • Communicate updates on delays and incidents to passengers and CCF

  • Perform LRV checks for all equipment prior to service

  • Report LRV, station and depot defects to resolve as soon as possible

  • Respond to customer needs and follow Keolis’ practices in an emergency
