Job Description

Position:  Fleet Mechanic - Part-Time/Year-Round

Pay Rate:  $24.50/hour

Typical Schedule : Monday-Friday 7am-12pm 

Hours : 25 hours/week (average)

Summary : Under the direction of the Supervisor of Fleet Services or Fleet Mechanics, this person performs maintenance and repair work on vehicles and equipment for the Fleet Services Division. Work includes service and repair of double axel equipment trailers, 14, GVWR or less with electric brake systems, turf mowers, multiple brands of utility carts, grounds maintenance equipment and automated mower blade sharpener.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Performs minor, major and emergency repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment at the Districts Maintenance and Service Center.
