We’re Hiring: Intermediate Archaeologist

Fort St. John, BC (preferred) or Calgary, AB (for the right candidate), Full-time. Synergy Land & Environmental Services is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Intermediate Archaeologist who enjoys field leadership, hands‑on assessments, and working across diverse project environments. This role suits someone confident running field programs, mentoring junior staff, and engaging respectfully with Indigenous communities.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise archaeological field assessments
• Identify, record, and catalog archaeological and traditional use sites
• Conduct preliminary and post-impact reconnaissance and impact assessments
• Uphold strong health and safety standards
• Support project coordination and delivery
• Liaise professionally with First Nations
• Mentor and oversee junior field staff
