CMHA Kelowna is hiring a full time, 12-month termFamily Navigator to join the Foundry Kelowna Team. This position offers 37.5 hours per week, with a typical work week of Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm with Thursday variations of 9am-5pm or 11am-7pm based on program need.

WHO IS A FAMILY NAVIGATOR?

The Family Navigator provides essential navigation support and services to parents, caregivers, and families of children, youth, or dependent young adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use issues. This role involves one-on-one and group work aimed at identifying community resources and building the skills, knowledge, and connections necessary for effective caregiving.

WHAT DOES A FAMILY NAVIGATOR DO?

• Meet with parents and family caregivers at Foundry Kelowna and within the community
• Respond to caregiver inquiries via phone, providing guidance in navigating available services and supports for both youth and families
