The Melanoma/Sarcoma unit is a 25-bed medical oncology unit providing care to adult and geriatric patients ranging in age from 18 - 95. Four monitored beds are designated for melanoma, renal cell carcinoma, sarcoma, cervical, ovarian, thoracic and pancreatic cancer patients receiving high-dose bolus interleukin-2 and/or targeted cellular therapy requiring cardiac monitoring. Primary populations treated include: melanoma, sarcoma and GI patients receiving complex chemotherapeutic and bio-immunotherapeutic regimens and all solid tumor cancer patients receiving immune effector cell therapy. * Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, an RN license and at least twelve months of recent RN experience in Oncology and/or a Medical Surgical Inpatient setting. * *Shift will be 7pm - 7am and 26 out of 52 weekend shifts per year.* *MD Anderson offers our employees:* * Paid employee medical benefits (zero premium) starting on first day for employees who work 30 or more h...
