Exempt Captain, Non-Union, full-time position based in Caribou, NS, operating vessels that run from Wood Islands, PE, and Caribou, NS. Key Responsibilities

• Safe navigation and ship handling for docking and undocking multiple times daily.
• Implement the Company’s Management System as per the ISM Code on board the ship under their command.

Education, Experience And Certification

The ideal candidate will have experience navigating Ro-Pax vessels in confined or narrow waterways and in shallow water. Experience with Azimuth thrusters, Controllable Pitch Propellers and Becker Flap Rudders is an asset.
