The Executive Director reports to the Board and is a non‑voting member of the Board and is the secretary of the Board. The Executive Director is responsible for implementing Board end policies and is responsible for staff management. The Executive Director is responsible for the Chamber website, sends out quarterly newsletters, and is responsible for research, writing, and reviewing all external communications. They also develop board agendas and attend and take minutes at board and committee meetings. Designs brochures and arranges content for annual membership correspondence and coordinates written material for the Nipawin & District Chamber of Commerce. Basic bookkeeping tasks include entering accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank deposits, as well as preparing analysis presentations for the board. The Executive Director will organize the ABEX Awards, golf tournament, and other events as assigned.
