Planta de Tratamiento de Agua de Yanacocha (WTP) is located 800 km northeast of Lima, Peru. It is part of the largest gold mine in South America. The project includes two of the continent’s largest acidic wastewater treatment plants—an 800‑hour capacity facility on the west side and a 2700‑hour capacity facility on the east side. Current activities involve early work on the site, creating permanent platforms, shipping areas, estimating, class‑2 assessment, level‑3 program, and the execution plan.
