Environmental, Ecology and Geomatics 2023 Summer Jobs Open Summer Job Positions We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as field technicians based out of our Whitecourt office. These positions are for the 2023 summer term, a practicum work term and with the potential for permanent full time permanent employment pending a successful summer season. The following positions are available: Creeks Technician: candidates will be familiar with watercourse inventory and sampling techniques.

Project tasks will consist of extensive field work conducting stream inventories, aquatic habitat inventory, and roadway watercourse crossing inspections. Creek technicians will also be utilized for ecology projects as the need arises. Restoration Technician: project duties include participation in seasonally active programs with extensive field work consisting of data collection, and site prescriptions.
