Our Mining Division in Eastern Canada is growing, and we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Designer co‑op to join our team in the Burlington office. This will be a fall term co‑op.
About the role
Provides basic drawings and design suggestions under the guidance of a more senior designer or engineer.
Complies with Ausenco or client specific drawing specifications and document control procedures.
Prepares drawings and uses CAD aided design software for the creation of electrical design of single line diagrams, motor schematics, wiring, general arrangement, distribution panels, grounding, lighting, and cable tray.
Prepares drawings and uses CAD aided design software for instrumentation and controls design of loop drawings, PLC and DCS wiring, panel layout and instrument general arrangement.
Back drafts redlines from check prints and markups as directed by the Electrical Engineer/Technologist.
