About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Aide to support an elderly woman in her home in Peachland. The ideal candidate will have experience providing personal care, companionship, and household assistance, while fostering a safe, respectful, and positive environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care assistance (e.g., bathing, dressing) as needed
• Support with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
• Shop for and prepare simple, healthy meals
• Perform housekeeping duties (laundry, tidying, vacuuming, bathrooms etc ) maintaining a clean and safe home environment)
• Accompany client on short walks, appointments, or errands

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Monitor and report any changes in health or behavior to family or designated contact
