The EH&S Specialist supports safety and environmental compliance for multiple Kentucky warehouses and distribution sites by implementing EHS programs and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, including Kentucky Occupational Safety and Health (KOSH) requirements. The role collaborates with site leadership and the corporate EHS team to conduct inspections, identify hazards, support incident investigations, coordinate training, and maintain accurate safety and environmental records. Additionally, the specialist assists with regulatory reporting and helps prepare sites for audits and inspections.
Essential Functions:
+ Support the implementation and maintenance of EHS programs and site-level procedures to promote a safe work environment, including identifying training needs and coordinating general industry safety training. Assist EHS leadership with safety initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement efforts.
