As part of the Groundwater Geoscience Team, you will utilize your geological expertise in Quaternary deposits to develop stratigraphic models that inform sustainable groundwater practices. You will collaborate with various stakeholders and disseminate your findings to support effective regulatory decisions across Southern Alberta.
Key Responsibilities: • Create geological models to support groundwater evaluations. • Map Quaternary stratigraphy utilizing various data sources. • Generate geological maps and maintain AGS's scientific credibility. • Collaborate with hydrogeologists for model integration. • Conduct fieldwork which includes well drilling and logging.
