The Lac La Ronge Indian Band, Education Department is inviting applications for the following full-time position at Mikisiw Awasis Early Learning Centre in La Ronge, SK:

EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM MANAGER


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement and supervise daycare activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children in the program.

  • Supervise and assist Daycare Workers in: developing daily activity plans, providing nutritious snacks and lunches, coordinating sleep and rest time, establishing acceptable disciplinary policies, and guiding/assisting children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.

  • Develop programs and activities that are culturally appropriate, introduce math and literacy concepts and provide various experiences for children including songs, games and storytelling.
