The dispatcher will be responsible for the daily coordination of container movements. He or she will ensure that routes are optimized, deadlines are met and a high level of customer service is maintained.

Primary responsibilities

Plan and coordinate container transport
Assign drivers and optimize routes and loads
Monitor deliveries and manage unforeseen events
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers and partners
Ensure compliance with deadlines, safety standards, and procedures
Keep dispatch systems and documentation up to date
Provide excellent customer service
Profile sought

Experience in container transport distribution minimum 2 years (LTL and TL an asset)
Excellent organizational and priority management skills
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
Good communication skills and team spirit
Bilingualism (French and English) an asset
Knowledge of dispatch software (an asset)
