Director of Annual Giving

Thomas College, located in Waterville, Maine, is seeking a Director of Annual Giving to lead a newly crafted annual giving program.

Overview

The Director will work with the Advancement team, manage a portfolio of 125 prospects, and collaborate with the VP of Advancement and the President of the College to promote the acquisition of gifts to the Thomas Fund. Key duties include developing year‑round strategies for the annual fund, managing appeals, sponsorships, signature fundraising events (Day of Giving), and individual solicitations, while integrating best‑practice fundraising across all activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance year‑round strategies to bolster the annual fund, including appeals, sponsorships, signature events, and individual solicitations.
• Manage workflow for the student philanthropy committee, educating students on philanthropy and encouraging in‑college giving.
